Important instructions
When lighting it for the first time, let the candle burn long enough for the wax to melt evenly across the entire surface (from edge to edge of the jar) to avoid tunnelling.
Before use, trim the wick to about 0.5 cm. This helps prevent smoke, an overly large flame and uncontrolled burning.
Burn for about 2 hours at a time, so that the wax heats evenly and gradually fills the space with its scent.
Extinguish the candle gently with a snuffer or by lightly dipping the wick into the wax. This avoids smoke and the scent will stay pure until the end.
Wax remaining at the bottom of the jar once the candle has burned down completely is normal. For safety reasons, stop burning when about 1 cm of wax remains at the bottom of the candle; this minimises the risk of the glass container cracking and of wax spilling.
